VERNACCIA di San Gimignano 2013, Cesani (IT)
Vernaccia is a white wine grape grown around the town of San Gimignano in Tuscany. The family owned
Cesani winery is located in a small area called Pancole and they have produced this Vernaccia that has a pale gold color with green tints and a bouquet of green apples, flowers and herbs. It is a crisp, full bodied wine and you will find the taste of apples, minerals and herbs right through to finish as well as a hint of almonds.
ESSENTIAL RED 2012, Bogle Vineyards (CA)
A Blend of Old Vine Zinfandel, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah, this wine has a deep dark color and the impressive bouquet is all about berries and cherries. Full, rich palate of ripe fruit. It is complex and on the palate you will find sweet cherries and also vanilla from the 18 months in French and American Oak. Look for a hint of Licorice in the finish. Bogle Vineyards represents a 6th generations family of dedicated wine producers.
