Season passes and daily rate for swimming. Available to village and school district residents only. Lifeguards on duty through the summer. This local favorite is technically not a lake at all. The reservoir water, (Croton River) runs off the Croton dam, through Silver Lake and out to the Hudson River. The constant flow of water keeps this local hot spot crisp and clean for swimming. There is a small beach area below which is great for smaller children so bring a net for minnows. The older kids will have fun finding, first, second and third rocks to stand on. Of course you need to know the local secret to finding them all. Old timers will tell you that this is where the original Tarzan movies were filmed. The pavilion area is near by for picnicking. There are bathrooms but no food service here. Be prepared to walk. It is located down a somewhat steep path.
