Plus One ADU Program Virtual Information Session
The Village of Croton-on-Hudson, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity and the Housing Action Council, is pleased to announce the launch of the Plus One ADU program. This initiative assists homeowners in creating Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) such as backyard cottages or separate-entry apartments. The program provides financial support, with grants of up to $125,000, funded by New York State Homes and Community Renewal.
The Plus One ADU program aims to expand affordable housing options, support homeowners in staying in their properties, and enhance community connections. The program is currently active in 52 communities across the state, including seven in Westchester County.
