Movie Night – “Big Night”
“Big Night”, the award-winning 1996 film that tells the story of two brothers in the 1950’s as they strive to honor the food of their native Italy in their struggling New Jersey restaurant. Its all-star cast includes Stanley Tucci, Tony Shalhoub, Isabella Rossellini, Ian Holm, Minnie Driver, and Allison Janney. “Big Night” beautifully weaves together a touching story of the immigrant experience in America with the love of two brothers and the tensions between them. It celebrates food as an art form – food has never looked so good on the movie screen – and also features the wonderful music of Louis Prima.
